Out Of The Park Developments Starts Its World Series Sale Early On OOTP 14 and iOOTP 13

Since both League Championship Series are still going on in Major League Baseball, it’s not quite time for the World Series just yet. Don’t tell that to Out of the Park Developments though, as it’s jumping the gun and putting both of its current baseball sims on sale early for the occasion.

Currently, both Out of the Park Baseball 14 (or OOTP 14, as it’s known without as much typing) is 50 percent off at $19.99 for PC, Mac, or Linux. Not to be outdone, iOOTP Baseball 13 for iOS devices is available in the App Store for just $0.99. Both games are among the top sports sims of any kind on their respective platforms, and getting them at these prices is a bargain.

“Usually we wait until the World Series begins to launch our annual OOTP and iOOTP sale, but this time we wanted to get started a little earlier,” OOTP co-founder Markus Heinsohn said in a company press release. “We like to think of this as the pre-game tailgate party. Enjoy both League Championship Series, everyone, and here’s to an exciting World Series!”

For mobile gamers, historical seasons for iOOTP 13 are also on sale. Bundles of 10 seasons that normally go for $4.99 are just $1.99, and the all-in-one historical pack that is regularly priced at $24.99 is marked down to $14.99. Historical seasons allow the replay of individual past MLB campaigns, can put real players into the June draft if playing a career game, and they’re even transferable from one iteration of iOOTP to the next.
