Batman: Arkham Origins Coming To iOS, Android Soon (Video)
If the thought of playing Batman: Arkham Origins on more than just consoles and PC’s entices you, then do we have some news to share with you. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the game will be coming to iOS and Android sometime soon (within the non-mobile launch window). The game will be a free-to-play brawler that incorporates precise quick time events and includes plenty of secret and special Batman-related paraphernalia.
The goal of the mobile Arkham Origins game is to traverse through Gotham City to defeat Arkham Asylum’s greatest enemies, including Deathstroke. By accomplishing tasks and progressing through the game, you can unlock classic Batman costumes. Some of these include Red Son, Earth Two, Thrillkiller and Liberty Files, all of which come from alternative history or past storylines of Batman comics.
Additionally, if you own the console version of Batman: Arkham Origins you will receive additional content for the mobile version. This is great news for developers NetherRealm Studios, the team that created Batman: Arkham City Lockdown that was also released on mobile devices.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be releasing the iOS mobile version first within the October 25th launch window of the console/PC game, with the Android release to follow. Check out the trailer for the game below.
