Dodgers vs Cardinals: Game 6

The Cardinals have clinched the National League Championship Series in Game 6, and will head on to face the winner of the Tigers vs Red Sox ALCS. Hanley Ramirez was key to the Dodgers’ attempt of forcing a Game 7, as he went 1-3 with a solo home run and a walk. He was lifted late in the game for pinch runner Dee Gordon, who was thrown out yet again. This time, he was actually out by a considerable amount. Kershaw did not perform up to his standards, as he finished 5+ innings and gave up 8 hits, 3ER, 2 walks and only struck out 1.

David Freese won the NLCS Most Valuable Player award again (first since 2011) for his efforts all series long. He hit another home run and finished 2-4. Carlos Beltran also homered, finishing the game going 1-3. Michael Wacha did it all this game. He got a hit and went 7 innings, giving up 2 ER on 8 hits, 0 walks and 7 K’s.

Come back to GameSided tomorrow afternoon, as we will be posting the ALCS Series Simulation between the Tigers and the Red Sox!
