When you have the pitcher outhit guys like Andre Ethier, Adrian Gonzalez and Uribe, you’re not going to win games. The Dodgers had to go with Ricky Nolasco and it cost them, as he gave up 4 ER on 4 hits, 4 walks, 4 strikeouts in 4 innings. 4’s were wild in this Game 4 matchup.

Speaking of 4’s, David Freese earned 4 RBI on a 2-run home run and a double to score all of his team’s runs. On the other side of the coin, Pete Kozma continues to go virtually 0-NLCS with another 0-4 game with 3 strikeouts. It didn’t really matter, though, as Shelby Miller made his first start in the playoffs and was masterful, pitching a 6 hit, 1 run (unearned), 7 K complete game.
