Dodgers vs Cardinals: Game 3

The Dodgers were looking to use home field advantage to their…well, advantage. It didn’t start out that way, with the offense maintaining 1 hit per player. Surprisingly, it was A.J. Ellis who scored the 2-run home run, with Carl Crawford hitting the solo jack. Hyun-Jin Ryu tried his best to make up for his 3 inning start in the NLDS, going 6.2 innings and giving up only 2 ER over 6 hits, a walk and 7 K’s.

The Cardinals go up 2-1 in the series thanks to the likes of Matt Adams. He finished 2-4 with a pair of 2-run home runs. Additionally, Tony Cruz came in as a pinch hitter to score a sacrifice fly. Adam Wainwright didn’t get the win, but he did a good job as he went 6 innings and surrendered only 5 hits, 3 ER and struck out 4. Randy Choate got the win in relief.
