Halloween Hits Super Hero Squad Online

It might not feel like it in places like the East Coast of the U.S., where in my neck of the woods it’s been in the 80s all week, but Halloween is coming up fast. That means MMOs everywhere will be sprucing up their game worlds with seasonal visual tweaks and events, and “Super Hero Squad Online” is no exception.

The citizens of Super Hero City are psyched for Halloween, as you’ll see if you log in this month. Events and activities can be found around the Daily Bugle and Baxter Plaza, and the developers have also teased some Halloween-themed heroes coming up. We’ve already got Blade, Morbius and Werewolf, all of whom are perfect for the holiday, so who might be joining the fray? Think Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster (or Adam, as he apparently likes being called now).

That’s not all that’s new. A new Survival Mission titled “Strike of the Spider-Foes” is ready to test you in both regular and crisis modes, throwing wave after wave of Spider-Man’s most dangerous enemies at you. Or as Peter Parker would say back in the day, a typical week for Spidey.
