Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals

It seems as though the blowout win over the Giants was all the Carolina Panthers needed to get into a groove this season. Coming off their bye week, the Panthers hit the Cardinals right in their beaks to build a 27-7 halftime lead which turned out to be an insurmountable deficit for Arizona to overcome.

Cam Newton played like a man possessed for Carolina. He went 21-of-27 for 312 yards and two touchdowns in his best game of the 2013 season. Mike Tolbert also scored for the Panthers on a 17-yard run on the first drive of the game.

Carson Palmer continued to be a reason for the Cardinals’ shortcomings. In addition to the three interceptions he threw, Palmer also fumbled an astonishing five times which set up four Panthers scores.
