If there was any doubt about the New England wide receiver group, there isn’t anymore.

Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson caught a combined 23 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots on their way to a big Sunday night win over NFC contender Atlanta.

With all the good that came from the New England receivers, the running backs gave reason to worry. Three lost red zone fumbles stopped the Patriots from blowing the game open, and won’t make Bill Belichick happy.

Falcons QB Matt Ryan left the game in the third quarter with a hand injury. Before leaving, Ryan had 126 yards on 12-of-17 passing. All five incompletions came on third down.
