Dark Souls II Will Be Released On March 11, 2014

. Dark Souls II will be making its way to gaming consoles on March 11, 2014. The PC release date is unknown at this time.
Fans of the action Japanese role-playing game Dark Souls can expect a lot out of the sequel, especially now that they plan to make the game more open world than before. The game will also remain very difficult, meaning after a short tutorial teaching you the controls of the game you’re mostly on your own to explore.
The trailer above also indicates that there will be special editions to the game. The “Black Armor Edition” will provide the game, a collectible metal case and the game’s soundtrack as a free upgrade if you pre-order. Dark Souls II also comes in a collector’s edition, complete with an art book, authentic cloth map of the game’s overworld, Dark Souls II itself, the soundtrack and a 12″ warrior knight figurine in a special box. Details on pricing are expected to be released in the months ahead.
