In a sight many didn’t see the coming, the Falcons fell to 0-2 on the young season after their defense allowed Rams QB Sam Bradford to throw for 326 yards and two touchdowns, both to TE Jared Cook, to lead the Rams to a 10-point victory to improve to 2-0.

Matt Ryan went just 13-of-29 for 127 yards with an interception as the Falcons went three and out 11 times. A big reason for the failures by Atlanta is the fact that top WR Julio Jones left the game with a neck injury in the second quarter and didn’t return.

Steven Jackson scored Atlanta’s only touchdown on a 54-yard run on the first play of the second quarter.
