San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks


Two of the best defenses in the NFC did battle this week, and both lived up to the hype as only two touchdowns were scored in this one.

The Seahawks built a 12-0 lead early in the third quarter before the 49ers cut it to 12-7. With Seattle up 18-7 late in the fourth, the Niners scored and converted the two-point try, but failed to recover the onside kick with 1:31 left and no time outs.

Colin Kaepernick “only” threw for 267 yards and a touchdown against Seattle. Frank Gore scored the other touchdown for San Francisco.

Marshawn Lynch ran for 122 yards on 29 carries. Russell Wilson passed for just 188 yards on 14-of-22 passing. Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka went 6-6 kicking.
