"Square Enix apologized to players this morning for the server issues they encountered duringFinal Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn‘s launch. They’re offering free game time to make up for these problems.In order to accommodate the game’s greater-than-expected demand, Square Enix will be adding additional Worlds. They’ll do this during a maintenance period that will run from September 3rd at 5pm PDT to September 4th at 3am PDT. Square Enix also plans to increase the number of logins allowed for each server during this time."

Days ahead of the NFL season kicking off, Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One’s NFL and ESPN apps will both arrive in November, presumably in time for the console’s unannounced launch date. This is, of course, the beginning of a multi-year partnership with the NFL.The NFL on Xbox One app will feature live games, scores, stats, and highlights. It will also enhance the Fantasy Football experience by working with NFL.com, NFL Network, and NFL Red Zone. The Snap feature will allow fans to watch live games and track their fantasy teams simultaneously, whether they’re watching a game or anything else that might be on TV. The app will require Xbox Live Gold and an NFL.com account. “Additional subscriptions and/or requirements apply for some features,” such as NFL Red Zone."
"Xbox One is currently in ‘full production’ following a last minute CPU tweak, a Microsoft exec has confirmed.Speaking at the Citi Global Technology Conference, Xbox chief marketing officer Yusuf Mehdi confirmed the console is currently in its production stage.He also revealed the company has improved the console’s CPU from 1.6 GHz to 1.75 GHz, according to Geekwire."
