Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Despite the fact they went 2-14 last year and had the number one overall selection in last April’s draft, NFL pundits across the country are selecting the Kansas City Chiefs as the sleeper team to watch in the AFC this year due to the hiring of Andy Reid as head coach and the acquisition of QB Alex Smith.

If the Chiefs want to get back to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons, they’ll have to win the games they’re expected to win like Week 1 against the Jaguars.

In the fourth quarter and the Jaguars up 28-13, Smith began a KC comeback that no one would expect. Going 13-of-14 for 166 yards and two touchdowns in the quarter, Smith lead the the Chiefs back from a 15-point deficit to a five-point advantage to give his team a 36-31 win over the Jaguars.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts III led all receivers with 88 yards on nine catches and a touchdown. Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles had 124 yards and a touchdown to lead the running backs.
