- Nintendo revealed the Nintendo 2DS this week. It will retail at $129 and will release on October 12.
- The Wii U finally got a price cut and will ship deluxe models at $299 starting September 20th. There were also a lot of new release dates for upcoming Wii U games.
- Madden NFL 25, Lost Planet 3, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and other games were released earlier this week.
- Speaking of Final Fantasy XIV; you may now monetize Youtube and Twitch videos when streaming game content.
- Grand Theft Auto V released their TV ad trailer. Just sixteen more days until launch!
- It’s not just young adults that play video games. Moms love to play them too, according to a report.
- Mark Cerny busted out some Japanese and English dialect to promote PS4 launch title Knack.
- Fan voting will apparently affect player rankings in Madden 25 over the season.
- Facebook is working with Unity to provide an SDK that will integrate mobile gaming aspects with Facebook features on the web.
- Deadly Premonition is coming to Steam, so maybe you’ll play it this Halloween. So says Mr. Stewart.
