4. Bioshock

One of the best storytelling games of the generation, Bioshock is about an individual (Jack) who is stranded in an underwater city after his plane goes down.

Sounds like your typical thriller game, right? Wrong. It’s way much more than that.

What you get is a dark, brutal, but phenomenal game that pulls in players like a movie would. It’s one of the scariest games every made that didn’t end up being complete garbage due to only going for shock factor. In fact, Bioshock didn’t use fear and violence solely to get a reaction from players, it used them in order to tell the story the way it should be told.

The detail in the visuals makes this game standout even more than it would if it had just mediocre art work.

It’s an intriguing game that everyone who considers themselves a gamer needs to play. Just don’t do it in a dark room by yourself.
