Best Platformer – LittleBigPlanet 2
When the PlayStation 3 came out back in 2006 it took a bit of time before it started to pick up momentum. There weren’t many exclusives available that made fans crave the system. That is, until LittleBigPlanet came out back in October of 2008.
LittleBigPlanet 2 improved greatly upon its predecessor. Whether you were playing by yourself or with friends in couch co-op or online, this game brought the platformer genre to blockbuster status for the PS3. The campaign was lengthy and engaging, bringing a much richer narrative. The clothing and personality grooming of your sackboys and sackgirls provided thousands upon thousands of unique customizations. Best yet, the online community created some of the more inventive customized maps I have seen in some time.
LittleBigPlanet 2 was fun for the whole family; young or old.
