2K Unveils Official 2K14 Trailer
With the NBA season still a couple of months away, and a good portion of the North American sports world obsessed with the release of Madden 25, 2K Sports is trying to put the spotlight back on its game with a new trailer.
Accompanied with the track “Hate Me Now” by Nas and Puff Daddy, the video highlights cover athlete Lebron James, as well as several other players including:
– 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest winner Terrence Ross
– Andre Iguodala on the Golden State Warriors
– Dwight Howard catching alley-oops and swatting balls for the Houston Rockets
– Monta Ellis in a Dallas Mavericks jersey – not passing the ball of course
– Several Toronto Raptors getting dunked on
– The return of Derrick Rose
With the return of EA Sports’ NBA Live series to the basketball market, 2K has rolled out several new features such as the inclusion of Euroleague teams and a new blocking system to defend the Brandon Knights of the gaming world. LeBron James also became the first athlete to choose his own track listing for the game’s soundtrack, following in the footsteps of Jay-Z for last year’s instalment.
NBA 2K is expected to release in North America on October 1 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Next-gen versions of the game are slated for November releases.
