Top 20 Mobile Games Of All Time

2. Candy Crush Saga
Maybe the fact that “Candy Crush” is still a big deal as I type this is making me give it too much credit, but I don’t think so. People of all ages and both genders are hooked on this game, which is more addictive than the sweets it features. Guys who never play games of any type on their smartphones play “Candy Crush” and go online to ask people to send them lives. One of my employees was getting antsy waiting for more levels to be added. That’s how big this is.
When I met with some of the team at King at E3 this year, they seemed genuinely (but pleasantly) surprised that the game went from hit to craze. It’s not just the match-3 gameplay, which is solid enough. “Candy Crush” just has that “it” factor that is hard to describe. Right game, right time, I guess, plus King made sure the kinks were ironed out online before unleashing it on mobile. To state the obvious, it worked.
