9. The Room

I’ll be the first person to admit that puzzle games aren’t usually my thing. Yet I still dig “The Room,” another classic example that sometimes less really is more.

Mostly this game is about trying to figure out how to open up boxes. But that’s not really doing it justice, as the fun comes not just from the mental challenge, but also the way Fireproof Games gives everything such a tactile feel.

Oh, it’s also frustrating at times, but that’s okay. Easy games are for sissies. You can’t be a sissy and beat “The Room.”
