League of Legends World Championship Tickets On Sale
Tickets for the League of Legends World Championship will be going on sale August 15 (today) at 3 p.m. EST, according to the League of Legends’s eSport website.
In anticipation of the fastest rising game’s biggest event of 2013, fans will have the opportunity to purchase several different packages:
- Group Stage – Culver Sound Studios, September 15-21: $20 per day
- Quarterfinals – Culver Sound Studios, September 23-24: $30 per day
- Semifinals – Galen Center, September 27-28: $30-60 per day
- Finals – Staples Center, October 4: $40-100
With the tournament being spread out from September 15 to October 4, the folks at League of Legends have also partnered with several hotels in the surrounding California area:
- Biltmore Hotel: $202 per night. Mention code: 1310RIOTGM

The League of Legends World Championship consists of professional teams from North America, Europe, and Asia. Last season’s World Championship consisted of a $2 million dollar prize pool, with Taiwanese team Taipei Assassins taking the title. The highest placing team was North American regional champion Team Solomid.
