Bethesda Unveils The Elder Scrolls Anthology

Bethesda announced that they will be re-releasing all five PC Elder Scrolls games this fall in a collector’s set known as The Elder Scrolls Anthology.

Listed at a price of $79.99 USD, fans will be getting:

  • The Elder Scrolls: Arena
  • The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Also included will be additional DLC. This means that Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn will also be available out of the box.

With collector’s items like this usually containing novelty items as well, Bethesda is throwing in five physical maps of Tamriel, Iliac Bay, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim.

The box set is expected to be available on September 10 in North America, and September 13 throughout Europe. There has been no announcements whether the console version of the game will see its own Anthology release.

The next chapter in The Elder Scrolls franchise will come in the form of The Elder Scrolls Online. It will be the first open-ended multiplayer instalment of a series known for its single player story. The game will take place 1000 years before the events of Skyrim.

The Elder Scrolls Online is expected to release in Spring of 2014.
