Infinite Crisis: Three-Tiered Founders Program Unveiled

You know a free-to-play game like “Infinite Crisis” is getting ever so much closer to being ready to launch when it announces what people who don’t mind ponying up some dough up front will receive for their money. That just happened today, with Turbine and Warner Bros. Interactive revealing the game’s Founders Program.

Players can choose from three levels of financial commitment with increasingly impressive perks and rewards. The Basic tier unlocks three champions, grants 800 Crisis Coins and provides an exclusive icon for use in-game and in forums, all for $19.99. The Standard level ups it to 32 Crisis Coins and six champions and gives players an exclusive “Renaissance” costume for Gaslight Batman for $49.99. And for the truly dedicated, the Elite level unlocks 12 champions, splashes out 8600 Crisis Coins, gives all the goodies from the previous two levels and adds on the exclusive “Arkham City” costume for Batman and guarantees early access to the next map, Gotham Divided (isn’t it always?). Phew!

Sadly, the Elite package doesn’t automatically make you awesome at MOBAs, which could be a problem for yours truly. But what it and the other two tiers does do is give players immediate access to the closed beta that is currently underway, so you’ll at least have a chance to get a feel for everything before the official game release.
