Xbox Live Beta Sign-Ups Coming Soon

Want to be one of the first people to test out the new updates to Xbox Live before they are released to the masses later this year? Well, you’re in luck.

Microsoft will be opening its sign-ups to the public beta of the latest update to Xbox Live and the Xbox 360.

The update, which is expected to include an update that will reduce system loading time, will include features to make the system’s performance, as well as user experience, better. The exact updates coming, other than the knowledge that Microsoft Points will be a thing of the past, are not known at this time.

Users who want to sign up for the beta will have the option to do so straight through their Xbox 360 console. There will be on option soon on the home slide of the dashboard that will allow users to accept the terms and conditions, and sign up for the beta.

“Space is limited, so once the spots are filled the beta will be closed to the public,” said  Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb on his blog this morning.

Any questions about the update will be answered via the company’s FAQ page which, at this time, has yet to launch.
