Total War: Rome II Specs Revealed
When ‘Rome: Total War’ was released in 2004, it immediately garnered accolades from many in the gaming industry. It was even dubbed by some as one of the greatest PC games of all time.
Nine years later, the game’s true sequel is set to be released: ‘Total War: Rome II’.
Fans have been waiting for any details on the game, and while we got plenty at E3, there was still more players wanted to know. For example, people want to know just what they will need in their PCs in order to play this game.
On Friday, developer Creative Assembly released the minimum and recommended specifications for the game.
The minimum specs will allow the game to be played on a lower-scale PC.
- OS: XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8
- Processor: 2GHz Intel Dual Core processor / 2.6 GHz Intel Single Core processor
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Graphics: 512MB DirectX 9.0c compatible card (shader model 3, vertex texture fetch support).
- DirectX: 9.0c
- Hard Drive: 35GB HD space
- Screen Resolution: 1024×768
The recommended specs, however, will require a much more powerful gaming rig for use.

- Processor: 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor (or greater)
- Memory: 4GB RAM
- Graphics: 1024MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card.
- DirectX: 11
- Hard Drive: 35GB HD space
- Screen Resolution: 1920×1080
‘Total War: Rome II’ will be released worldwide on September 3, 2013.
