Fans of the Plants vs. Zombies series are going to have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on the sequel to the overly popular PvZ.
PopCap games has announced that Plants vs. Zombies 2, which was originally slated to release on July 18, has been delayed until “later in the summer”. The announcement came via the game’s twitter account.

PopCap stated later on that the game, when released, will still be free to play, and will be launch on “Apple products firsts” like the original plan entailed. The company wants to make sure that Plants vs. Zombies 2 is “up to fans’ standards” before hitting the market.
