Our NHL 2015/2016 Simulation From EA Sports’ NHL 16

If you’re a hockey fan, there’s plenty to be excited about in the month of October. As 30 teams battle it out for Lord Stanley’s Cup once again, the new season is complimented by the recent release of EA Sports’ NHL 16 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
This year’s title is an excellent hockey sim that makes big strides over last year’s edition. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game so far (check out my review here), so as we approach the new season, we have used the game to run a full season simulation in order to crown our GameSided Stanley Cup Champions for the 2015-16 NHL season!
How We Simulated Our NHL 16 Season Simulation
As is usually the case with simulations, there are a few limitations to the formula. However, we’ve made all settings as realistic as possible in our attempt to determine a victor, and all of the game’s rosters are accurate as of the 27th of September. We’re going to take a look at every single team in our huge slideshow, with the final slide being reserved for the playoffs and our eventual Stanley Cup Champions.
