WildStar Prepares For Launch

Maybe that’s not even the greatest title for this post, as the head start period for WildStar is underway, and players who pre-ordered the sci-fi MMO are already exploring Nexus. But the official release is still a few days away, which is why the Carbine team has a full weekend of Countdown to Launch streams, giveaways and more.

The fun begins today at 10 am Pacific time (1 pm Eastern) on the WildStar Twitch channel, when Hot Pepper Gaming will be streaming, with Monika Lee following from 2 pm to 5 pm Pacific. Along with showing off all kinds of content — including arenas, dungeons and open world questing — the streams will find winners for WildStar swag, prizes from Logitech and Nvidia and possibly even copies of the game. There will be even more streaming fun on Sunday and Monday, which you can see on the full schedule in the game’s forums.

If you like what you see, it’s still not too late to pre-order WildStar and play during the head start window. Oh yeah, and you get some exclusive in-game items and perks like a rocket house (which just sounds awesome), an in-game storage bag, and much more.
