Five Nintendo 3DS Games To Receive Price Cut
The Nintendo 3DS has provided some top-quality games the past few years. Now it appears as though some of the platform’s greatest will see a price cut starting April 22nd. That’s right, as Nintendo Life reports, Nintendo of America will see five of its 3DS games be listed at $29.99 on the eShop and contain the same MSRP in retail stores.
The list of games, including three of the Top 5 best-selling titles in the history of the platform within the US, include:
- Mario Kart 7
- Super Mario 3D Land
- New Super Mario Bros. 2
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
The Nintendo 3DS titles above have accounted for a total of over 9 million physical and digital copies across the United States alone, a great accomplishment to reach in just one market. And while some of these titles are two or more years old, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D came out just last year. For Nintendo to lower prices on their games this early is a rare sight, so make sure to take advantage of these deals as they go live starting next week.
