The newest Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, “Devastation,” is coming out first for Xbox Live on April 3. To promote their second in a line of four DLC packs that come with a season pass, Activision released a trailer on the Call of Duty Youtube page, depicting the 4 regular maps, the Episode 2 Extinction Mode setting and a new enemy hidden within plain sight.

Regular Ghosts DLC multiplayer maps include the likes of four small-to-medium-sized maps. “Ruins” puts players in what looks to be the…well, ruins, of an Aztec community in a forest backdrop. Tight corridors are layered with two-story decaying buildings, allowing for both run-and-gun play and sniping. Depending on the circumstances, players can create an explosion that causes a nearby volcano to erupt, sending large projectiles all over the map.

“Behemoth” looks to place players along a long drilling contraption, putting the focus on long-range combat in a narrow-but-long arena. Sniping will take precedent, although the layout might make you a sitting duck. “Collision” is set on a boat that crashed into a bridge. Lots of nooks and crannies will have players being ambushed and bombarded from all angles if they don’t pay attention. Finally, “Unearthed” is a re-imagining of “Dome” from Modern Warfare 3. An excavation site with many makeshift hallways and corridors, with a center point that can see all around the map.

With the new Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, players will have access to a new weapon in the “Ripper.” It acts as a combination of submachine gun and an assault rifle, giving those you use it the freedom to change styles on the fly.

For the Extinction Mode, Episode 2 is titled, “Mayday.” Set on an abandoned research vessel, players can expect to face new foes. A seeder acts like an alien turret, while the ultimate foe relies in a 100 foot Kraken. In the final tease, we revisit the Ruins stage to see the Predator from the movie franchise come into frame. If it bleeds, you can kill it!

Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, Devastation, is headed for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on April 4th, while other systems and PC users will have to wait. Check out the trailer for yourself below.
