Titanfall Will Not Utilize Kinect

Today, Respawn Entertainment confirmed on Twitter that their upcoming AAA title Titanfall will not utilize Kinect in any way.

This could spell disaster for Microsoft and the Kinect, which was touted as being the future of gaming.  Gamers are being forced to pay an extra $100 for the Xbox One due to the included peripheral and are not getting what they were promised.  Microsoft has consistently stated that Kinect support would be plentiful but one of their first major exclusives fail to utilize it.

How long before Microsoft removes the Kinect from their bundles?  Very soon if game developers continue to not provide support for it.

Titanfall is the highly anticipated first person shooter being released on March 11, 2014 and is being developed by Respawn Entertainment on the Xbox One and PC while the Xbox 360 version is being developed by Bluepoint Games.
