Tom Clancy’s The Division Being Co-Developed

There are still plenty of questions surrounding Ubisoft’s newest Tom Clancy IP The Division — like a release date — but one answer we now have is who exactly is developing the game. In addition to Ubisoft’s Newcastle studio, UK developer Reflections is co-developing the game according to Develop.

In speaking with Develop, Reflections’ managing director Pauline Jacquey said that nearly 40% of her studio is working on the game.

“We’re working on all of the game’s systems: main characters, enemies, RPG pillars, building Manhattan, online components, and so on,” she told them.”It gives us a very broad and wide input on the game, but it’s not as limited as the naval battles on Assassin’s Creed III.”

It wasn’t revealed whether this partnership will lead to a quicker release of the game, but we can only hope that this means we are only a few months away from getting our hands on The Division for the first time.
