For weeks, there have been rumors and speculation regarding a PC release of Grand Theft Auto V. Now, it appears as though the cat has been let out of the bag regarding a next-gen console release for the 2013 Game of the Year.
According to Czech Repulic website Super Gamer, GTA V is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 13, 2014. The website also lists a PC release of the game for the same June 13 date, but other reports show a March 12 release date of GTA V on the PC.
Gamesided has reached out to Rockstar games for comment on this potential leak, and will update the story when comment is given. For now, however, let the speculation continue that a next-gen version of GTA V is coming much sooner than later.
More to come…
Mike’s Musings: Until it starts popping up state side for pre-order, I won’t buy into the hype fully that it’s coming this soon, though I do believe that it’s only a matter of time before Grand Theft Auto V appears on next-gen consoles. That being said, if this information turns out to be accurate, you can count me as one of the first to sign up for a PS4 version of GTA V this summer.
