After a very long life cycle for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the entirety of the newest generation of video game consoles is here. It has been for almost 2 months now, and the limited amount of experiences on both the PS4 and Xbox One is quite evident already. There are only so many times you can pull off an ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAA COMBOOOOOOOOOOO in Killer Instinct, shoot beautifully-animated enemies with voxel physics in Resogun or try to play a full online match without disconnecting in Battlefield 4 on either console.

Things are still on the up-and-up for both consoles. The Xbox One sold the most units in North America during December, only because the PS4 stock is in such a demand that there were lineups at Best Buy’s US-wide (more than 2 months after launch) when they received a big batch of consoles on January 19th. There are a bunch of 3rd party games coming to both consoles, but for each Sony and Microsoft, what are the games we can look forward to that are either company or console-exclusive?

Let’s look at some of the highlights that will be coming to both the PS4 and Xbox One. (Wii U exclusives and 3rd party titles coming later this week)
