Highly anticipated mech-based shooter Titanfall won’t launch with mod tools upon its 11th March release on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, developer Respawn has confirmed.
Studio co-founder and Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella revealed this omission on Twitter where upon being asked if the PC version of Titanfall would come with mod tools, the developer replied, “Not at launch for sure.”
A Trojan masquerading as a popular add-on for World of Warcraft was responsible for compromising user accounts even with authenticators, Blizzard revealed today.
According to a post on the MMORPG’s support forum, a fake version of the Curse Client contained the trojan. The spoofed client appeared on a forged version of Curse’s website, which ranked highly on major search engines for the term “curse client.”
Blizzard recommends that users who believe they may have been compromised delete the client and run the latest version of Malwarebytes, then follow the steps listed on its support page.
Child’s Play charity kicked off ten years ago in 2003. That year, they raised $250,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital, providing hospitalized kids with things like video games, toys, and books. Fast-forward to today and the network has grown to over 90 hospitals worldwide.
And now the results for 2013 are in: Child’s Play managed to raise $7.6 million for kids around the world last year!
The charity has made the announcement in a news posting on their website. It’s an incredible feat. Over ten years, more than $25 million has been raised to make the lives of sick children a little nicer, with $7.6 million of that total from last year alone – more than the total raised over the first six years combined.
