VGX 2013: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Wins Best Casual Game

The hardcore gaming fanbase is the most vocal of the community, but there is no denying that the casual gamer makes up the largest part of the community. With that being the case, VGX 2013 rewarded the games made for the casual gamers out there with the award for Best Casual Game.

Up for the award this year were Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Disney Infinty, Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time and Skylanders Swap Force. The children at the kids table during Thanksgiving voted, and the winner of the Best Casual Game for 2013 went to Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was published by Nintendo, and is available on the Nintendo 3DS
