World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Announced, Expansion Details Teased

On the eve of World of Warcraft’s 9th anniversary comes the announcement live from Blizzcon that the newest expansion to the popular MMORPG is called, “Warlords of Draenor.” There are several new additions to the newest expansion that takes homage to the early days of WoW.

First, and most prominently, will be the world of Draenor added to the game. Within the lore of World of Warcraft, it is the homeland of the Orcish race before the events of and arrival to Azeroth. Additionally, you can build and upgrade your garrison for protection against the great beasts that await you.

New character models have been added to greatly improve the quality and details of your character. The level cap has been raised to 100, with an option to boost to level 90 with a new character to get a head start. New dungeons, raids, monsters, items, rewards, quests and a new world PvP zone have all been added to Warlords of Draenor, making this newest expansion par for the course of excellence over the years.

With active membership scaling downwards over the past year, maybe this will rejuvinate interest in the powerhouse MMORPG that is World of Warcraft.
