South Park: The Stick Of Truth “Destiny” Trailer, Launch Date Released

It appears as though finally the team at Ubisoft have come up with a release date for South Park: The Stick Of Truth. The game will make its way to current generation and PC platforms this December 10thPre-ordering the game will also net you the “Ultimate Fellowship Pack,“ which includes costumes that come with special abilities.

The trailer above reveals the game’s overarching story. The Stick of Truth has been stolen, along with “Princess Kenny,” and it’s up to the new kid to bring them back and save the day. There are a great deal of secondary and tertiary South Park characters featured in the above video, including Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo, Jesus, Mr. Slave, Jesus, the greyliens, Canadians, gnomes, goths, and the anime version of Professor Chaos.

While it is great to see a release date, it’s unfortunate that we have yet to see official gameplay of South Park: The Stick of Truth. There was leaked footage earlier in August at Toronto’s Fan Expo, but has since been taken down. We do know it will be a turn-based RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a genre that the company has thrived on for decades.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3 and on PC this December 10th.
