New Watch Dogs Gameplay Video Released

Ubisoft has just released a new video featuring it’s upcoming next-gen title Watch Dogs.

The video, which is near 15 minutes in length, showcases a couple major aspects of the open-world gameplay of the new IP from Ubisoft.

In the first half of the gameplay demo, the protagonist of the game, Aiden Pearce, attempts to hack a protected server in order to gain crucial information about the surrounding area. The demo shows off how being stealthy and using the right combat moves will be important to having success in the game.

Towards the end of the video, players get to see how the multiplayer will work in the game. Another player had joined the game, and attempted to hack the main player’s single-player game without notice. You can see him fail, but the hacking player gets away.

After failing to catch the hacker, the developer enters the other player’s game seamlessly in order to attempt to return the favor. After being caught by the other player, the man playing as primary Pearce (?) leads him on a chase until he has a chance to ambush him.

What happens next is a shootout between the two players before the main player leaves after his failed effort to hack the man who tried to hack him.
