Madden 25: Fan Voting Will Impact Player Ratings

This year, Madden fans everywhere will be able to influence the game’s rosters through a voting system on NFL.com

Details have yet to be confirmed, but it appears that after every week of the NFL regular season, football fans will be given a list of names that they can vote for. The players that win the weekly poll would then get some sort of a ratings boost.

The current poll consists of rookie quarterbacks that had impressive seasons last year. At the moment of publication, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson leads over Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, and Brandon Weeden.

EA Sports’ marketing decision to turn to the fans have been a successful venture for them, with the last two cover athletes being decided through an NCAA March Madness type voting bracket. However, the last two years have consisted of Detroit Lions, so gamers should be prepared to reserve their copy of Madden 15 with Matthew Stafford on the cover.

In the last few years, the player ratings have been handled by Madden Ratings Czar Donny Moore and his team.

Madden 25 is available on store shelves worldwide for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The next-gen instalments of the game are expected sometime in November.
