Ubisoft To Unveil New Next-Gen IP At gamescom

Ubisoft has revealed in a press release that they will be revealing a new next-gen IP that is currently in development at gamescom, the hugest gaming convention in the world. Additionally, the French publishers will be showcasing  Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, The Crew, Rayman Legends, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, the Watch Dogs app, Might & Magic Duel of Champions Online Card Game, Might & Magic Heroes Online, Might & Magic X Legacy and The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. They certainly have a penchant for might.

This is what Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had to say about their upcoming showcase.

"This year’s gamescom is particularly exciting because it’s the first time players can really get their hands on the next-gen consoles and games they have been waiting for. Gamescom is a unique opportunity for us to connect face-to-face with our fans and listen to their feedback, and we think they’ll love what we’re bringing to this year’s show."

Ubisoft has been on a roll lately. They wowed everyone with the reveal of Watch_Dogs back at E3 2012, they had us marveled at the end of their E3 2013 press conference with the reveal of RPG-shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division. Now they’re going to reveal yet another new IP near the end of the month? Ubisoft is certainly bringing a new level of excitement to their games catalog that might not have been there before.
