Jealous of the members of the video game industry who got their mitts the next gen consoles at E3? If you’re heading to Comic-Con, you’ll be able to play your envy away with some hands-on time with a PlayStation 4.

As reported by Polygon and originally revealed on the PlayStation Blog, the PS4 will be taking its bows in front of the public at Comic-Con in San Diego. Attendees will be able to play “Driveclub,” “Knack,” and “Octodad” on the new hardware at the Sony booth, as well as checking out upcoming PS3 titles like “Beyond: Two Souls” and “Grand Turismo 6” and PS Vita games such as “Killzone: Mercenary” and “Spelunky.”

Sony will also be giving away Vitas (insert your own joke here) and holding daily contests at its booth. Plus the company has a hand in several events, including an autograph signing with Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann and artist Faith Erin Hicks for copies of “The Last of Us: American Dreams” and a panel revealing more about Telltale Games’ plans for “The Walking Dead” on Vita.

Of course it can be a long, expensive trip to San Diego for Comic-Con, but this should be the first of several events where Sony has the PS4 out in the public eye before its fall release.
