World Of Tanks Gives Players 5x Experience For July 4

What’s more American than hopping on “World of Tanks” and helping your teammates blow away enemy tanks over the holiday weekend? Wargaming.net will probably say that the answer is “nothing,” and its providing big experience and credit boosts to make sure players everywhere have reasons to do just that.

From today through July 8, “World of Tanks” players will get five times the experience for the first victory earned in each vehicle, each day. Tier IX and X vehicles will earn extra crew XP, and all non-premium Tier V and VI vehicles will receive twice the credits from each battle. Those extra credits will come in handy, too, as equipment and crew training are half off for the duration of the event.

Wargaming has also tied in one of the latest additions to the game, missions, to the holiday celebration. The repeatable mission First Class requires players to do the most damage on their team, and anyone completing it will be rewarded with bonus XP and credits all weekend.

If you’d rather take to the skies than slug it out on the ground, it’s worth mentioning that “World of Warplanes” just entered open beta and is playable under your existing Wargaming.net account. The beta received a small update today, but is also ready for all comers during the weekend.

So while you might have hot dogs and fireworks on the agenda for this weekend, make sure you save some time for some heavy metal carnage as well. It’ll be worth it.
