GTA V Encourages New Ways to Cause Havoc

Rockstar Games knows that in the world of Grand Theft Auto, the most annoying hurdle preventing gamers from fulfilling their life’s ambitions come in the form of the police – and now they’re giving us another way to deal with the annoying 5-0.

In a recent facebook post on GameStop’s official page, it was revealed that:

"In ‎#GTAV, street gangs are still a problem in Los Santos, while the Lost Motorcycle Club is making moves in Blaine County. Some gangs are more interested in fighting the cops than each other – use that to your advantage when escaping the authorities."

Using what some may refer to as technically the biggest gang in the game, against other gangs, to your benefit seem like the perfect setup to potential gunfights and entertaining action sequences. This information also acts as a nice counter to the news that police in GTA V will be using “advanced driving tactics” during pursuits. If the police can use high ground for a better vantage point and vehicle maneuvers to prevent criminals from fleeing, then gamers should be able to lead them into deadly traps as well.

Gang warfare played a prominent role in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with the inclusion of turf wars, and at least some form of that premise seems to be returning in full force in GTA V.

GTA V will be getting a worldwide release on September 17, 2013.
