We’re less than a month away from the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and more information about the game is starting to pop up online. For instance, the Advanced Warfare PC requirements were posted on the game’s official Steam page, and…let’s just say that they’re fairly strong for the bare minimum.

Minimum:

  • OS: OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
  • Processor: Intel® CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD PhenomTM II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 55 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX-compatible

That’s right, the dreaded 6 GB of RAM for minimum Advanced Warfare PC requirements makes a reappearance, after showing up last year in Call of Duty: Ghosts. What’s interesting of note is that the CPU minimum now requires an i3, while the graphics card minimum is actually a lesser card than last year’s requirement. At the end of the day, both games still contain massive file space, as Advanced Warfare up Ghosts’ HDD requirements at 55 GB versus 50GB, respectively.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 4th. Pre-ordering the game can get you access to the Day Zero Edition, which lets you pick up the game a day earlier, plus other bonus benefits. Check out the recently-released launch trailer, which is odd to say 2 weeks before the game’s actual launch. Hey, at least Troy Baker’s likeness is in it, not just his voice!
