Summon Bears To Fight For You In The Kyrat Of Far Cry 4

Beginning a multi-part series exploring the lands of Far Cry 4, Ubisoft has released their first video that goes in depth with the game’s Lowlands. All set in the fictional Kyrat, the trailer aims to show just how rooted in depth the realism of a mountainous regioncan be within the upcoming FPS title.

The Lowlands of Far Cry 4 span across many hills, hidden valleys, marshes and thin mountainous roads. They are also host to antagonist Pagan Min’s Royal army, as well as chief officer Paul Depleur. It’s clear that the depcition of this man that wants to be painted is of pure evil and malace, as he is shown ellectrocuting and torturing citizens of the Lowlands of Kyrat. He seems to be the first main enemy of the game that you’ll have to defeat in order to progress throughout the game.

The Far Cry 4 trailer also shows how to navigate the Lowlands, including by car, hovercraft or by gyrocopter. Because it is a Far Cry game, there is always the threat of man and animal ready to strike at a moment’s notice. Thankfully, you can always just throw hunks of meat at the feet of the soldiers of the Royal Army, as you’ll never know when a helpful bear can maul them down for you!

Far Cry 4 is slated for a November 18th release on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
