If you were planning on getting in on some good ol’ wrasslin’ on your PS4 or Xbox One this October, you’re just going to have to wait just a bit longer. Eurogamer is reporting that WWE 2K15, making its debut on the PS4 and Xbox One for the first time this year, will make its long-awaited debut on these consoles on November 18th. It had been planned on being released on October 28th.

The head of co-developer Visual Concepts, Greg Thomas, noted, “Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles.

“The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”

While it will be a bummer to those who wanted to emulate their wrestling heroes in a much-higher graphical resolution on these next-gen consoles, 2K Sports really wants to be careful when it comes to releasing games on these new platforms. Their inexperience last year led to some problems with online play in NBA 2K14, so it makes sense that they want to get it right, instead of getting it out earlier.

WWE 2K15 will now be released on November 18th on the PS4 and Xbox One, while PS3 and Xbox 360 will still see the original October 28th release date.
