Steelseries Announces New Fast Glide Surface – The DeX Mousepad

Today the global manufacturer Steelseries announced the upcoming release of their newest surface for gamers called the DeX Mousepad.

The new mousepad is made of a low-fricition polymer, coupled with a 3D optical pattern that will “offer a superior level of tracking accuracy for all applications.” The Steelseries DeX provides a super fast response time, and ultra quick glide of movements. It is also being touted as “the most durable mousepad on the market”. Mostly due to its heat-sealed edges to help limit fraying and wear over extended use.
Steelseries Tino Soelberg CTO said,
"We designed this for gamers who prefer to have a low friction surface that want and prefer a fast glide; it’s a very different feel from our QcK family of surfaces."
The new Steelseries DeX will be available for pre-order this upcoming fall for $39.99 / €39.99 MSRP. The DeX surface seems like the next great must-have from the folks at Steelseries.
