Even though RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 is likely staying out of AAA development, it doesn’t mean that Xbox owners won’t receive a game in a similar vein. Microsoft took to the stage at gamescom 2014 to announce ScreamRide. It looks to be a futuristic rollercoaster development game, where your success is determined on the screams of park patrons.

More from Microsoft

Being developed by Frontier, while published by Microsoft Studios, it’s coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in Spring 2015. While there’s not much known about the game, it’s clear that the goal is to make your own creative rollercoaster park in a (utopian?) future where loud yelling is the fuel driving economic stability. The poor are obviously those with strained vocal chords.
