Atlus Bringing Tears To Tiara 2 To PS3 This Fall

Earlier this month, I wrote a list of 10 jrpgs coming out in the remainder of 2014. Well it looks like there is an 11th to add to that list. Atlus has announced that they are bringing strategy jrpg Tears To Tiara 2 to the West on PS3 this fall. Tears To Tiara 2 will hit North America October 14th (yup another October game) and Europe November 11th

Tears To Tiara 2‘s story is about an indentured servant named Hamilcar Barca who rises up against a corrupt empire and can channel the power of a beserker. The game will feature over 80 hours of gameplay and feature over 15 additional characters to help Hamiclar in his quest. It will retain the original Japanese dialogue and offer English subtitles. A little disappointing, but understandable as translation can be time-consuming and very costly. I’m going to take a wild guess here and assume you don’t need to play the first game in the series since Atlus is only publishing the second game.

Yes, Tears To Tiara 2 is releasing in the crowded month of October, but admittedly the main rpg I had my eye on in October was Dragon Age: Inquisition. Since that got pushed back to mid-November, this may be a great filler in the mean time.
