Summer Games Done Quick 2014 Schedule: Day 5

Day 4 has come and passed, as now we have a better idea for what’s coming up for the Summer Games Done Quick 2014 schedule on Day 5! At time of posting, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is getting the speedrun treatment.
For those who are not familiar with Summer Games Done Quick, it is an annual charity event where Speed Demos Archive gets some of the top speedrunners together for a full week of playing and streaming classic and contemporary video games as fast as they can. It is all done in the name of Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit organization that “delivers emergency medical care to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, natural disaster, or exclusion from healthcare in more than 65 countries.” The goal is to continue to trend upwards in donations received after topping over $1 million in funds raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation during Awesome Games Done Quick 2014.
If your donation reaches certain amounts throughout the Summer Games Done Quick stream, you are eligible to win sweet prizes. They change throughout the stream and are usually centered around the current game. Additionally, you can donate to make several choices that impact the schedule or gameplay styles and options within several games during the stream, including bonus games, Resident Evil 2 scenarios, Deus Ex: Human Revolution endings and more.
The people behind the Humble Bundle are also kicking in, providing the “Summer Games Done Quick 2014 Bundle” for purchase. 100% of the money received during the weeklong promotion will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, and a $25 donation will get you access to the following games (most of which will be seen live during the week): Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, Gunpoint, Noitu Love 2 Devolution, Bleed, Electronic Super Joy, Psychonauts, Dustforce, The Basement Collection, Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord and the first 25,000 participants will also get access to Guacamelee! Gold Edition. You can still donate what you want, but a $25+ donation will unlock those games.
Finally, you can also purchase several gaming-related t-shirts from The Yetee in order to help out the funds raised from Summer Games Done Quick. $3 from every shirt will be contributed to Doctors Without Borders, which is a great way to support a cause while picking up some sweet merchandise.
